What is Pilates? 

It is a system of exercises using a Pilates mat and many other apparatus designed  to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1900s, it's gentle effective exercises that uses controlled movement and breathing to tone & strengthen muscles irrespective of age or fitness level.Dancers, athletes & sportsmen do Pilates to complement their exercise programmes. We use the classical floor mat exercise technique combined with weighted balls, foam rollers, weights, eight bands & resistance bands.
